U.S. President Donald Donald Trump made one last attempt to win over voters with an event in Grand Rapids, Michigan late on Monday, and Lil Pump, who endorsed the former reality TV star-turned-politician last week, was among the supporters in the audience.

He was invited up to the podium to address the crowd in the early hours of Tuesday, when Trump mispronounced his name, telling locals, “I love your sound, I love your music. And speaking of sound and music and other things – one of the biggest superstars in the world… Little Pimp!”

The Gucci Gang rapper, real name Gazzy Garcia, appeared unfazed and went on to praise Trump for “everything you have done for our country.”

“MAGA 202020 (sic) don’t forget that!” he said, citing Trump’s 2016 campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again”, before adding about his main opponent, Democrat Joe Biden, “And do not vote for sleepy Joe – at all!”

Model Bella Hadid made her feelings about Pump’s political views clear as she shared a photo of him posing alongside a Trump 2020 flag on her Instagram Story timeline, and remarked, “This is so irresponsible. This kid is a loser.”

Meanwhile, others jumped on the embarrassing name blunder, with rapper Lil Duval, and hip-hop personalities Peter Rosenberg and DJ Akademiks among those poking fun at Pump.

Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., also found himself at the centre of ridicule, after boasting about Pump’s rally appearance – only for social media users to share screen shots of a post-election tweet the 20-year-old musician had shared back in 2016, which simply read, “F— DONALD TRUMP,” after beating Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton to the White House.
