In a separate video posted on the Instagram account for the Uninterrupted athletic brand, Hope elaborated on her difficult experience becoming a new mother during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“What have we been doing during our time in quarantine? Well, as you can see, we’ve been incredibly busy,” the 38 year old said in the footage. “(These have been) incredibly stressful times for us.”
The goalkeeper explained her newborn twins were required to remain in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), but the excellent care her family received from medical staff helped lift their spirits.
“We would like to thank all of the incredible nurses and the doctors who helped take care of our babies during our time in the NICU and we’d also like to thank all the health care workers who’ve been on the frontlines fighting this pandemic, day in and day out,” she shared.
Hope married former NFL player Jerramy in 2012 and the twins are the couple’s first children together.
